High Capacity Stationary Storage Racks
High-capacity stationary storage racks, also known as "static racks", feature all-welded construction with no moving parts. Similar to pallet racking, shelves are flat and do not roll out. Multiple shelf units require a lifting/reach device to reach into the shelf and grab something off of it, like a forklift.
Single-shelf units allow high-capacity items to be stored directly on the rack top, similar to a worktable. Depending on the items stored many different types of features are available to improve handling ease/safety. Common features are lift tubes, special cradles (UHMW, HDPE, steel, hardwood), or custom brackets for support.
Our high-capacity stationary racks are typically used for storing large bulky items. Racks have a capacity of up to 80,000 lbs., which makes them ideal for industrial applications including automotive, industrial machinery, engine, steel fabrication, and tooling industries. Common items stored are steel coils, large sheets, CNC tooling, and large injection molds.
